"Shield Wall" Woven Bracelet

I first became aware of Viking shield walls (skjaldborg) (the military tactic whereby a well armoured line of troops, closely held together with upraised shields was used to defend against enemy onslaughts and to throw off the enemy once those onslaughts had lost stamina - it was protective, strategic, and forceful) whilst reading Bernard Cornwell's "The Last Kingdom" series, so when I began bead loom weaving I thought it would be interesting to see if I could create a pattern representing these shield walls.  This bracelet is the result of my endeavours and I have chosen this particular design and colour palette to represent fortitude in my Resiliency Collection.  When you wear this bracelet, may it imbue you with the qualities of courage to face your fears and battle to overcome any trying task or situation.
 
The use of both thermally bonded and nylon threads mean that this bracelet has a bit more rigidity and a little less drape to it, giving it a nice, sturdy feel.
 
Measurements:
All of my bracelets have extender chains, allowing for more sizing options.
Smallest: 7" (17.8cm); Largest: 8.75" (22.2cm)
