FAQs

Where are you based?

I am based out of Alberta, Canada.

What currency are your products in?

All of my products and shipping costs are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

What payment methods do you accept?

All payments made on my site are processed through secure Stripe which accepts all major credit cards, as well as ApplePay.

What are your business hours?

  • Mon – Fri: 10am – 5:30pm (MST)

  • Saturday: 11am – 4pm (MST)

  • Sunday: Closed

Can I request a particular bracelet or necklace size if is is not currently available on your website?

Yes!  Contact me via social media, email, or phone with the style (bracelet/necklace name) and metal type (gold or silver plated or stainless steel) and the size you are requesting and I will do my best to fulfil your request.  If I am able to make your requested item, I will contact you by your preferred contact method informing you of the price.  Once this is done and I have confirmed that you still wish to purchase the requested item I will then upload it to the website for you to purchase (a full, non-refundable deposit is required before I make your custom item).  Requests for longer items will recquire an additional fee to accomodate the use of more beads and wire.

Please note: as this is a made to order situation it will take a couple of days to make and package your requested item.  Thank-you for your patience in this matter.  Please also note that at this time woven bracelets and limited edition items cannot be further adjusted to different lengths.

Do you accept custom order requests?

I most certainly do!  Use the contact form available on my site and provide me with the following information:

  • Type and style of jewellery you are requesting (ex. bracelet; wrap, strung, or woven)
  • General colour scheme (ex. preferred colours; warm or cool palette)
  • Intention or meaning you would like to convey through the piece (ex. love, happiness, joy, peace, fun, friendship etc.)
  • Time line (when will you be needing the piece)
  • Size required
  • Your preferred contact method

Once I have received your request, I will assess it to see if it is something that I can create.  After I have done this, I will contact you directly via your preferred contact method and inform you of my decision.  

If I am able to create your piece then I will make a special product link on my site where you can pay a full non-refundable deposit.  

Once you have paid I will get started on making your piece!  I will send regular email updates so you know what is happening throughout the designing and making process (this will include photos of the design to ensure you are happy with it as well as an approximate mailing date for your piece).  

The length of time your piece takes to make and ship will be dependent on several factors such as what type and style of piece you would like (strung, wrap, or woven), what metal you would like (I can source sterling silver plated, 14K gold plated, and silver and gold filled findings if you would prefer those over my usual offerings) whether I have the colour and type of beads, thread, and/or charms in stock or if I need to order them in.  

If your order is time sensitive please try and give me plenty of heads-up time so that you receive your order in plenty of time before the big event.

What materials do you use in your jewellery?

I use high quality Japanese and Czech Glass beads, genuine natural gemstones, gold and silver plated metals, stainless steel, waxed cotton and polyester, silk, nylon, thermally bonded thread, and very strong 49 strand stainless steel nylon coated wire.  I sometimes use Chinese glass beads in some of my designs, but these are used sparingly and where they have been used it will be stated on the product pages.

Disclaimer: I cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction someone may have due to the composition of metals used in my pieces (primarily brass and iron).  Please take note of the base metals being used before buying, especially if you or your intended recipient have had allergy issues in the past.  For further information on the base metals used please see my Sizing, Base Metals, & Care Instructions page.

What do the different necklace length names mean?

Traditionally necklaces come in 5 lengths each with their own distinct name:

  • A Collar or Choker necklace style is between 12-16" (30-41cm) in length
  • A Princess necklace is between 17-19" (43-48cm) in length
  • A Matinee necklace is between 20-24" (51-61cm) in length
  • An Opera necklace is between 28-34" (71-86cm) in length
  • Rope style necklaces are generally anything over 45" (138cm) in length

What Countries do you ship to?

I ship internationally, however, due to recent changes in the EU I am no longer able to sell to EU residents.  Please see my Ordering and Shipping page for more information.

I’m Having Issues Checking Out, What Should I Do?

As you know, technical issues can arise from time to time.  If you are having any problems completing your order please contact me via your preferred method and include the issue(s) you are having as well as what browser (and version) and device you are using and I will do my very best to assist you with the issue you are experiencing.  Thank you for your time, patience, and understanding.



Do You Have a Returns Policy?

Yes.  If you wish to return an uncustomised item you must return it unworn and in its original packaging.  The return must be initiated within 2 days of you receiving your order and I must be notified that you are placing a return.  The cost of return shipping (and any other associated fees) will be the sole responsibility of the customer.  Once I have received the returned item in the condition described above you will be refunded the cost of the item (initial shipping costs will not be refunded).
