"Emma" Necklace (Princess Length)

Jane Austen is one of my absolute favourite authors and I wanted to celebrate her wonderful writing with a necklace based on one of her many strong female characters. Although Pride and Prejudice and the character of Elizabeth have always been close to my heart, Emma is also a favourite of mine because of the lighter, more humorous tone as well as Emma's growth throughout the novel (and the fact that Emma was the basis for one of my favourite films, Clueless, helps too).  I chose cheerful, happy Czech glass colours and a pretty pink flower pendant to represent her.

Unlike some of my other necklaces that feature lobster clasps and extender chains this piece closes with a gold toggle clasp.
